Magnify, the Inclusive Design and Research Conference, October 6 talk
-
I'm thrilled to be speaking at the inaugural Magnify Inclusive Design and Research conference!
Sure to be a packed lineup with ample inclusive design knowledge building, the remote conference has been extended over a two-week period to maximize the content and learning opportunities.
I will be speaking as part of the Looking Out stream with my talk “There is no average person; why designing with intersectionality in mind is critical”.
In my talk, I will highlight the research behind prioritizing individuals over averages and how inclusive research practices can grow the impact of your work.
You'll leave the talk with an improved understanding of markets, new approaches to opening up market access, insights on how to deliver products and services that better serve increasingly diverse markets, and an understanding of the ROI of inclusive design practices.
