If I were him, I’d be mad all the time. But I’m not him. I’m Daniel Day-Lewis.
The never changing world of politics, from ‘91 to now.
I’m not even two seasons into The West Wing, which began in 1999. I’m pretty sure, in under 30 episodes, they’ve covered every major political debate of the past 4 years. This includes guns (and gun massacres), the economy, debt, education, foreign relations, the filibuster, and, well, pretty much everything else that’s been going on.
This reminds of driving back from Ottawa with Mauricio and Danielle after a Bush rally in 2004. Rush Limbaugh (spouting from his bathtub studio in America) saying less than 50 people showed up. There were over 10,000.
We decided some comedy was in order. We wanted to lighten the mood. We put Bill Hicks on the car stereo. He proceeded to rail on Bush for 30 minutes. The war in Iraq. Privacy. And every other topic of the day. Trouble is, he was speaking about George Bush Senior. This monologue was released in 1991, not 2004.
Obama's 23 Planned Executive Actions On Guns
Nice to see mental health covered in points 20-23.
Now it’s up to congress to ban some weapons, despite push back on that.

Today in post-election nonsense…
Businesses are laying off employees because Obama was reelected. Not because anything’s actually happened to their business, mind you. No, just layoffs because they didn’t like the election results.
Playing out as anticipated thus far:
- women prefer Obama;
- young people prefer Obama;
- urbanites prefer Obama.
Obama’s foreign policy in a nutshell: be a pushover so another country can rule the world.
People really need to get more educated. You think that most countries supporting Obama is a good thing? China has screwed over America and other countries with trade and Obama has NOT stood up to them, so of course they would want a president who has proven to be a push over. Mexico likes the fact that Obama is NOT strict with illegal immigration, so of course they would rather him stay president, so they can easily have access to the land of the free. Turkey is a part of the Middle East. ruled mostly by terrorists and extremists. Obama has not done much to stop them, so of course they don’t want a president who wants to do otherwise.
Think about it people: The reason America is the greatest country on earth is because we are the land of opportunity. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We stand up for ourselves in order to preserve that freedom. Obama has failed to do so, hence these countries want him to win, so other countries have a better chance of being more powerful. I don’t know about you, but I sure don’t want China ruling the world.
Hogwash. Where’s the evidence to back up your claims?
Further, you want to be run by and perceived to be a bunch of bullies and miscreants you’ll end up right back where you were in 2001. You can’t beat the world with military might and ‘we’re number 1’ hissy-fits. That behaviour will only come back to haunt you.
Regardless, as foreign policy is concerned, it’s debatable Obama’s been much different in his behaviour than prior Presidents, so what’s your point?

America, the world is watching. And we know Romney is going to ruin everything at home and abroad. Please vote accordingly.

Some people have been complaining about the lack of discussion on climate change during the debates. Perhaps surprising when Obama actually seems to be doing something about it and Romney thinks he’s an idiot for it.
Of course, neither was predicting Sandy prior to the election, so we’ve seen the same old rhetoric on jobs and security, and not much about gnarly weather events.
Hopefully Sandy’s put that all in perspective now and, considering the willfully ignorant statements on video above, provided one more clear knock to voters against the king dickbag who’s running against Obama.
