Xerox 7750DX. 12” x 18”. Double-sided. Colour laser. Multi-tray. With Fiery. High volume (30,000 prints per month), with low usage (about 25,000 prints in 5 years)

Ikea utility tables

$50 each. We used them to hold printer paper and other accessories. And as cut and paste tables. They’re awesome and you can’t get them anymore, but we haven’t really used them in about 3 years.

Ikea dining table

We used this as our boardroom table for years. We no longer believe in boardroom tables. It’s a little scuffed up, but suitable for 6-10 people depending on how many of the two leaves you add. This classic model is still available from Ikea for $299 brand new. We’re asking $50.

In the way-to-kick-me-in-the-nuts marketing FUBAR of the day, Intuit Canada *finally* announced Mac support with Quickbooks online, now available in Canada, and completely useless to me, their existing customer.

I did ask for this. Several times over the past 3 years. And several times I received a non-answer (‘cause they didn’t want to spoil the surprise? – it’s account software, people. Let me know your road map!). And then I received via email the delicious notice above just this morning: You asked. We answered.

Look at all these fantastic features:

Well, here’s the rub. Point number two in the Key Features chart: Existing customers can’t import their Quickbooks desktop accounting data.

Useless!

Which begs the question, why is Intuit sending existing customers this announcement? Jerks.

Geroin: i spoke to someone, apparently there isnt any capacity at downsview, they will just expand it if more people buy it, can fit like a million people there. but i still think there is a certain cap as they have to plan in advance, setting up the stage, equipment, sound and other stuff.
