In the way-to-kick-me-in-the-nuts marketing FUBAR of the day, Intuit Canada *finally* announced Mac support with Quickbooks online, now available in Canada, and completely useless to me, their existing customer.

I did ask for this. Several times over the past 3 years. And several times I received a non-answer (‘cause they didn’t want to spoil the surprise? – it’s account software, people. Let me know your road map!). And then I received via email the delicious notice above just this morning: You asked. We answered.
Look at all these fantastic features:

Well, here’s the rub. Point number two in the Key Features chart: Existing customers can’t import their Quickbooks desktop accounting data.

Useless!
Which begs the question, why is Intuit sending existing customers this announcement? Jerks.
