Quickbooks online, now available for Mac in Canada, but still completely useless.

In the way-to-kick-me-in-the-nuts marketing FUBAR of the day, Intuit Canada *finally* announced Mac support with Quickbooks online, now available in Canada, and completely useless to me, their existing customer.

I did ask for this. Several times over the past 3 years. And several times I received a non-answer (‘cause they didn’t want to spoil the surprise? – it’s account software, people. Let me know your road map!). And then I received via email the delicious notice above just this morning: You asked. We answered.

Look at all these fantastic features:

Well, here’s the rub. Point number two in the Key Features chart: Existing customers can’t import their Quickbooks desktop accounting data.

Useless!

Which begs the question, why is Intuit sending existing customers this announcement? Jerks.

More informative analysis on Radiohead selling out Downsview Park on TranceAddict.com

Radiohead bollocks.

I find it very hard to believe that Radiohead has sold out a park that once sported  450,000 disease free music fans and 800,000 nuts. And at $80 a head, no less.
